Domino wins PLC Award
Track and trace and inkjet equipment supplier Domino Printing Sciences has won the PLC Awards for the company of the year category.
The Cambridge-based group beat strong competition to win the award. The awards were held at the City of London.
The win comes after a year in which it grew sales by 17% to £300m despite the economic slowdown and was admitted to the FTSE4Good Index which measures the performance of companies that meet globally recognised corporate responsibility standards.
Domino group managing director Nigel Bond told Packaging News that he was delighted with the company’s win.
“This is a great win for the more than 2000 employees that work in the company. Industry has recognised our efforts in giving us this award. Everyone one is in great spirits and this is a great motivator for the challenges we face ahead.”
