RFID Research Reveals to Have Promising Results
2008-12-01
A research conducted by the Reusable Packaging Association in American is under the way to inspect how RFID tags undergo various tours along the supply procedures. According to reports, the research turned out to have encouraging results.

Through the whole supply line from manufacturers to supermarkets, the multi-use tags are scrutinized. Tags on the containers go through a battery of washings and then are delivered to distribution centers.

The RFIDs have to withdraw temperature extremes from 100-plus degrees in heat and freezing conditions or hydrocooling temperatures.

Researchers contended that the extent of RFID wear is strikingly high and they expected that the intact conditions would be remained after a series of testing on the tags.

The study and data surveyed by scientists and professors is planned to come up at the end of the year.
