Statistics on Cardboard Packaging Production in Russia

Cardboard Production in Russia accounted for 360,200 tons in 2007, risen by 32.3% based on the report from the company Abercade.
Cardboard imports summed up to 177,200 tons in quantity and spent US$ 535.9mn. Elopak, SIG, Combibloc, and Tetra Pak were among the importers. And exporters included Amcor Rench Novgorod, Karton, Ost-Master, and Tetra Pak which distributed 7,060 tons totalling up US$20.3mn.
A large number of cardboards used are among liquid products which accounted for 48.3%. Cigarette packaging makes up 27.9%, cereals packaging makes up 5.4%, tea packaging occupies 3.6%, washing detergents packaging - 2.7%, semi-prepared food packaging - 2.5%, pharmaceuticals packaging - 2.3%, waffle cakes packaging - 2.1%, chocolates and chocolate bars packaging - 1.9%.
