The new, single-used, flexible standup pouch, which is released by Englewood Cliffs, NJ-based Unilever in March, is going to cut down the amount of time we consume for preparing for the foods on our daily basis or on special dinning occasions. The new packaging accommodates Ragú Fresh & Simple and Bertolli Premium brand pasta sauces in three Ragú and three Bertolli varieties, which could be available in just 90 sec in the microwaves.
According to Gail Conroy, Ragu senior brand manager, roughly 57 percent of a recent poll said that a meal that could be both nutritious and convenient in a snap would be their priority. Fortunately, the pouch could exactly live up to consumers’ expectations among today’s hectic lifestyles with the offering of convenient, nutritious, fast and easy-preparing meals.
For the safe concerns, the pouch has a clear-bottom gusset that allows consumers to take a look at the sauce inside. Also, the pouch’s front and back covers shine with bright pictures that build on the Ragú and Bertolli brand equities.
Being expected to complement Unilever’s jarred sauces, the packaging could remain on the shelf for nine month. The pouch also offers two or three servings of sauce for a cost of $2.12 and $2.89 per pouch, for Ragú and Bertolli, respectively.
