The manufacturer of export packing, crate, pallets and industrial storage has relocated to Westway Park in Renfrew, near Glasgow, upsizing operations from an existing base at Linwood.
The unit at Westway will be used for manufacturing, with TNR also using the extensive crane facilities in both units.
Thomas Cochrane, owner of TNR, said: “The time was right for our business to expand and Westway proved to be the ideal central location, close to the airport, where the majority of our customers are located. It also offers the added benefit of 24-hour security. The unit itself gives us excellent manufacturing space and having access to on-site cranes is a real benefit for our future business needs.”
Gavin Smart, general manager, TNR Export Packing, told Packaging News the company has been trading since 2014, manufacturing tailor-made export packing – timber cases, plywood cases and a packing service – all custom packed for air or sea or road freight.
“We supply export packing for anything from heavy equipment to artwork. We are looking to provide further shipping services to our clients.”
He said the move was to a bigger facility was made to attract new business and grow bigger.
