Mount Franklin has announced its single-serve bottles of still Australian spring water are now made from 100% recycled plastic.
This is part of Coca-Cola Amatil’s aspiration to achieve packaging neutrality by 2030 by helping recover the equivalent of one bottle or can for each one they sell.
Coca-Cola Amatil’s Director of Strategy and Marketing Gaelle Boutellier said 100% recycled plastic has a small environmental impact compared to other packaging types.
“Mount Franklin is very aware that plastic is an issue for the environment and one that the brand has a responsibility to tackle.
“We’re proud to say our Mount Franklin Still 350, 400, 500 and 600 mL bottles are now made from 100% recycled plastic, with a goal to move more of the portfolio to 100% recycled plastic in the future.
“We’re calling on Aussies to keep recycling bottles and cans, so they can be re-used again and again,” Boutellier said.
Mount Franklin has also recently partnered with not-for-profit Keep Australia Beautiful to educate, inspire and take action to enable better recycling opportunities for Australians.
