International Paper Foodservice Europe has endorsed the recently launched Paper Cup Manifesto.

The manifesto was published last month by the Paper Cup Recovery & Recycling Group (PCRRG) and the Foodservice Packaging Association (FPA).

The Paper Cup Manifesto aims to boost the recovery and recycling of paper cups by making information available to the public about schemes and facilities, and ensuring the entire supply chain works together on the design, use and disposal of paper cups to maximise the opportunities for recycling.

Mike Turner, managing director of International Paper Foodservice Europe, said: “As a responsible manufacturer that is committed to the long-term sustainability of our products and the impact that our activities have on our planet, International Paper Foodservice Europe will do everything possible to support this important initiative.”
