Speaking of alcoholic drinks labels, more ingredients and details of calories the drink contains need to be added. The Food Standards Agency(FSA)claimed on June 11th that concerning the European Commission's proposal labeling rules should implement on food purchased on Internet or by mail ordering.
With the echo that some current labels are too small for consumers to see clearly, the FSA last week inspected its own system on food packaging.
Under the revision came up with some adjustments on labeling. Font size and contrast between the type and background will be altered. And some consideration will be also put on the font style and the position on the pack.
‘The main purpose of the project is to launch "clear and consistent" food labels to help buyers make the best choices’, presented by the FSA.
