Antalis and AirPack launch new inflatable protective packaging
2015-05-26

From:Packaging News

Antalis has partnered with AirPack Systems to provide inflatable packaging to speed up the packaging process and reduce damages and returns.

AirPack bags are distributed flat, which the company says saves up to 90% on storage space, and feature full recyclability using the highest quality co-extruded plastic.

Rob Bishop, managing director at AirPack Systems, said: “This builds on the successful relationship we have enjoyed with Antalis in Germany over the past few years where we have jointly developed a series of bespoke packaging solutions in a variety of sectors. It’s evident from early discussions that there are a number of exciting prospects which can be developed jointly with Antalis in the UK.”

Applications for the inflatables include alcoholic drinks, smartphones, electrical equipment, homeware products and pharmaceuticals.
