Sainsbury’s to relaunch Easter Egg recycling facility
2015-04-13

From: Packaging News

Sainsbury’s is set to launch its Easter Egg recycling facility again following an initial trial last year.

A spokesperson for Sainsbury’s confirmed to Packaging News the scheme would go ahead and reports have suggested more stores were slated to provide the facility this year – may be up to 400 outlets could offer the service.

Last year the facilities were able to recycle all elements of Easter egg packaging – including plastic, film, card, foil and ribbon, and followed a similar scheme during the Christmas period in 2013 which saw 1.2m Christmas cards recycled by Sainsbury’s customers.
