The 6 edition closes with record figures

LUXE PACK SHANGHAI, Premier Show for Creative Packaging in the Asia Pacific region has closed with record numbers. The show, held at the Shanghai Convention Center from 23 to 24 April, is a confirmation of the strength and identity of the LUXE PACK brand and its ability to attract the elites from the global packaging industry.

The event, celebrating its 6th year, posted impressive numbers:
• 121 exhibitors with an increase of 33% compared to 2012
• 13 countries and regions where exhibitors come from, including France,
   Germany, Spain, Italy, UK, USA, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Mainland China,
   Taiwan and Hong Kong
• 32% of exhibitors are completely new to the show
• 2 exhibiting halls compared to 1 of previous years
• 3063 visitors with a growth of 6,47% over 2012 over the two show days
   with significant presence of buyers from Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong,
   Japan, Korea, India, Singapore, France and USA

Exhibitors reported excellent results and high satisfaction. Their expectation of meeting high-end new prospective customers was widely met thanks to the participation of buyers of very high standing from across the world including procurers representing CHANEL, ESTEE LAUDER, AMORE PACIFIC, BACARDI CHINA, BEIERSDORF, JAHWA GROUP, BENTLEY, CONBA HEALTHCARE, BEIJING TONG REN TANG, SILK PRESENT, ZEGNA, NANYANG BROTHERS TOBACCO, CHINACHOW TAI FOOK JEWELLERY, JOHNSON & JOHNSON, L’OREAL and CHRISTIAN DIOR.

The final result of LUXE PACK in Green Award that was anxiously expected and very well attended has been announced in the solemn Prize Giving Ceremony on the afternoon of April 23th on exhibition site. A strict and precise study of the numerous applications has been made by the authoritative professional jury team consisting of the purchasing and development director of CHANEL CHINA, the Innovation Director Great China of DIAGEO and YVES ROCHER CHINA, a professor of ACADEMY OF ART & DESIGN TSINGHUA UNIVERSITY and the chief editor of PACKAGE & DESIGN magazine. The final award winner is ZRP PRINTING GROUP with the award-winning product “One-piece Structure Design Box”. This structure decreases 2/3 material using 2/3 less producing time without glue mounting process, which is more environmental friendly. Besides, this structure, not only increases the convenience of product packaging, but also the flexibility in product display, and creates a friendly consumer experience.
