Packaging for Retail Success: just three weeks to book your place

Time is running out to book your place at a new event that will reveal how big-name brands and retailers such as Sainsbury’s, Coca-Cola and GlaxoSmithKline approach packaging development.

‘Packaging for Retail Success’, which takes place on 10 November, is a new conference that will be a forum to discuss the role that packaging plays in branding, shopper marketing and retail sales.

The event is jointly organised by Packaging News and the Quality Food Awards, the UK’s leading awards programme celebrating excellence in food NPD.

DS Smith Packaging is the lead sponsor for the conference, while Sappi and MeadWestVaco are also sponsoring the event.

Brands, case studies and research

Speakers including Stuart Lendrum, head of packaging at Sainsbury’s, and Coca-Cola recycling director Patrick McGuirk will reveal how their organisations embed packaging development in the NPD process and how their packaging connects with consumers.

The event, at London’s Westminster Park Plaza hotel, will also include case study presentations from brands including GSK’s Aquafresh, frozen food brand Amy’s Kitchen and DIY brand Mira Showers.

Research organisations will also give insights into how packaging and retail interact, with speakers from Euromonitor International, Kantar and Pragma Consulting on the agenda.
