BPIF Cartons aims to raise profile at easyFairs

BPIF Cartons will be trying to raise the profile of its organisation and promoting cartons at the Packaging Innovations easyFairs show.

BPIF Cartons membership represents three quarters of the UK carton market.

BPIF Cartons general manager Neal Whipp said: “It’s fantastic to be working with easyFairs again. The first Packaging Innovations London show was an important step for us in getting our message across, and that is why we are committed to this year’s show as well as next year’s to build on this. It’s the only London show which looks at the carton market – so when we had the chance to get involved again we jumped at it.”

Last year’s show attracted more than 2,000 visitors.

Packaging Innovations London 2011 will be showcasing all that is new in primary and secondary packaging. The show will also include four other key areas:

●Design Village – An inspiring zone which provides a unique opportunity for brand owners to meet face-to-face with creative professionals and discuss brand management and shelf standout

●Luxury Packaging – A brand new area to source luxurious materials to portray high-end products and special editions through their packaging

●Print for Packaging – The place to find innovations in print solutions, whether dealing with immediate consumer demand or utilising technology to bring your product to life

●Contract Pack – The place to find a professional outsourcing partner in the contract packing and contract manufacturing arena

Matt Benyon, managing director at easyFairs UK and Ireland said: “The London show’s debut [last year] was superb. It told us unequivocally that our instinct had been right, that there is a real need for a dedicated packaging event in the capital. BPIF Cartons commitment to this year’s show and next year’s is a further ringing endorsement. We’re now all set to take Packaging Innovations London 2011 and 2012, as well as our 2012 NEC packaging shows, to the next level.”
