International food manufacturers seek UK services at Pro2Pac
The International Agri-Technology Centre will be hosting a delegation of international food manufacturers looking for new technology or services from the UK at the Pro2Pac exhibition.
The IATC is a government-supported organisation dedicated to promoting UK skills and expertise in the agri-food and related technologies sector.
The delegation, at the Pro2Pac show, will consist of International food processors and manufacturers from Brazil, China, Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, Pakistan, China, Portugal and Thailand. CP foods Thailand and a representative from JBS Brazil will also be there.
An IATC spokesman said that UKTI representatives from India, China, Thailand, Brazil, Portugal, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Barbados, Romania, Austria and Turkey will also be attending to answer questions on export opportunities in these markets.
He added that UK companies will be able to book one-to-one meetings with the international food manufacturers and “pitch their goods and services” to them.
It will be hosting the ‘meet the buyer’ style event on Tuesday 15 March in South Gallery Room at Pro2Pac from 11.00 to 14.00 offering UK companies the opportunity to meet the delegates on a 1:1 basis.
